Due to the use of the original manufacturer (Hikvision), the 287-channel surveillance video of Wuhan Hetian Hotel had problems with delays, freezes, screen blur, and bit rate limitations, and it was impossible to view high-definition cameras on demand.
Our company deploys video transmission gateways on the front-end aggregation switches and deploys 192-channel video storage companions on the back-end NVR. After adjusting the original bit rate to 1Mbps, the terminal can smoothly on-demand high-definition videos without adding a hard disk. The storage time is increased from 1 month to 3 months, solving the hotel storage expansion problem.

Before Transformation :
After the Maritime Police law enforcement vessel of the Coast Guard leaves the shore, it can only transmit the law enforcement record video through satellite. The bandwidth is severely limited and the video cannot be transmitted back to the ground in time;
After transformation:     
Upload the video captured by DV to Video File Companion (Personal Type). The video file is compressed, and the file size and video bit rate are reduced by 4-10 times. The video that used to take 57 minutes to transfer now only takes 3 minutes.

The four phases of the Ping An Optics Valley project have a total of 12,800 video channels. Each camera will generate 4T of storage per year. More than 390PB of storage capacity will be invested every year, and the storage cost will be approximately 80 million SAR.
After we deploy 500 video transmission gateways (16 channels) at the front-end aggregation node and 4 video intelligent computing clusters (1536 channels) at the back end, we will save 312.5PB of storage capacity and directly reduce storage expenses by 64 million SAR.     

There are 500 channels of high-bit-rate cameras above 2K in a major urban area of Wuhan City. The traffic management department is currently facing the problem of expanding surveillance storage from 3.6PB to 12PB. After our company deployed 63 video transmission gateways (8 channels) in the street aggregation switch, we compressed the original 12M bit rate to 1.5M. The overall 1.5 M storage capacity can be expanded 6-7 times, and the image quality remains unchanged.
Wuhan Metro Line 16 has built about 3,000 lines of video surveillance. It faces the problem of insufficient video upload bandwidth at sub-stations, and the storage time of all video surveillance needs to be expanded three times. Our company can solve the problems of video uploading and storage expansion in the subway by deploying video storage companions on the back-end video platform in front of the subway entrance and in the central computer room.
